Instructions on Using the Digital Sender

The following steps below outline the procedures of how to use the digital sender to scan, create PDFs, and e-mail documents to the end users. Please note that this machine now employs a touch screen method.

  1. Touch the E-Mail button on the display screen
  2. You are now presented with five areas in which you can fill with data.
  3. Touch the From button on the display screen and fill this with the appropriate data. Hit OK once you have entered your e-mail address.
  4. Touch the To button on the display screen and fill this with the appropriate data. Hit OK once you have entered your e-mail addresses.
  5. Touch the Subject button on the display screen and fill this with the appropriate data. Hit OK once you have entered your e-mail subject.
    Note: These three areas (From, To and Subject) are required in order to scan and e-mail your PDFs.
  6. Load your documents face up on the top loading tray. A green light will turn on once your documents are loaded.
  7. Hit the Start button. The documents will be scanned. The PDFs will be created and e-mailed to your recipients.
  8. Select No when asked to Keep Current Settings.
