The following steps below outline the procedures of how to use the digital sender to scan, create PDFs, and e-mail documents to the end users. Please note that this machine now employs a touch screen method.
- Touch the E-Mail button on the display screen
- You are now presented with five areas in which you can fill with data.
- Touch the From button on the display screen and fill this with the appropriate data. Hit OK once you have entered your e-mail address.
- Touch the To button on the display screen and fill this with the appropriate data. Hit OK once you have entered your e-mail addresses.
- Touch the Subject button on the display screen and fill this with the appropriate data. Hit OK once you have entered your e-mail subject.
Note: These three areas (From, To and Subject) are required in order to scan and e-mail your PDFs. - Load your documents face up on the top loading tray. A green light will turn on once your documents are loaded.
- Hit the Start button. The documents will be scanned. The PDFs will be created and e-mailed to your recipients.
- Select No when asked to Keep Current Settings.
